About TYCHR

Built to move grades, not hours.

TYCHR exists to make elite exam preparation personal: one student, one examiner-grade tutor, one plan — followed until the score moves. Today that means 5,000+ students across 70+ countries.

Our story

Great students don't fail exams. Unfamiliar mark schemes do.

TYCHR began with a simple observation: brilliant students were underperforming not because they didn't know the material, but because they didn't know how it was marked. So we built a tutoring programme around the people who do — Examiner Cat-1/2/3 certified tutors who teach the way papers are actually assessed.

That decision shaped everything since: true one-to-one teaching, personalised study plans, honest progress reporting and a 10+ year archive of past papers turned into the Question Bank and tutor-marked test series. It became the T.E.S.T. Method — and it works across IB, IGCSE, A-Levels, AP and the SAT.

Along the way, our students have made 15,000+ dream-university selections, earned 1,800+ places at QS Top-100 universities, and our work has been featured in 20+ publications. The mission hasn't changed: move the score, honestly.

How we teach

The T.E.S.T. Method.

Four principles behind every lesson we deliver.

Targeted

We diagnose exactly which marks you're losing and teach to those — not to a generic syllabus tour.

Efficient

Every hour is planned against your grade gap. Progress is measured in marks, never in hours logged.

Strategic

Papers are won on strategy: question choice, timing, command words and how examiners actually award marks.

Thorough

Regular progress reports keep parents and students looking at the same honest numbers, all term long.
